Dan David Foundation and Zvi Yavetz Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Gender Studies

The Dan David Foundation in collaboration with the Zvi Yavetz School of Historical Studies, Tel Aviv University, will award a one-year postdoctoral fellowship of $30,000 for the 2019-2020 academic year. The Dan David Foundation will give preference to candidates whose research focuses on the history of gender studies.

Fellows will conduct their research under the supervision of a senior faculty member from the School of History, Tel Aviv University. They are expected to reside in the Tel Aviv area. Tel Aviv-University PhD holders are not eligible.

Candidates must have received their PhD from an accredited institution of higher learning, no earlier than 1 October 2014 and no later than 1 October 2019. They are to submit proof of receipt of PhD, three letters of reference, CV, a short description of their proposed post-doctoral project, a writing sample, and an endorsement letter from the faculty member willing to sponsor them.

Recipients are required to participate in the activities of the School of History.

Candidates should submit their applications via email (schoolofhist@tauex.tau.ac.il) by February 28, 2019. Dossiers should be submitted to the Academic Committee, Arnold Fund, School of History, Tel Aviv University, Israel.  Letters of support should be sent directly to the School.
