Florence Levy Kay Postdoctoral Fellowship in Race, Science and Society at Brandeis University

The Department of African and Afro-American Studies and the Health: Science, Society, and Policy Program at Brandeis University invite applications for a two-year, non-renewable Florence Levy Kay Postdoctoral Fellowship in Race, Science and Society, beginning Fall 2017.

The Fellow, who will be appointed as a faculty member at the rank of Lecturer, will actively pursue his or her own research interests and teach one course per semester.

The Fellow will receive a 2017-2018 salary of $57,500, plus benefits, with moving expenses (approximately $1,500), and a research fund of up to $4,000 per year.

Ph.D. must be completed by September 2017. We are particularly interested in candidates with interdisciplinary expertise in the fields of sociology, anthropology, history, history of science, history of medicine, political science, and bioethics.
