Walter Benjamin Kolleg Junior Fellowship Programme

The Interdisciplinary Research and Graduate Network at the WBKolleg offers to promising scholars an academic “home base” for the transitional period after acquiring a doctoral degree (Junior Fellows). The aim is to prepare an application for funding to secure the next career step or to make possible the writing of another thesis for further academic qualification.

For the spring term 2018, the Interdisciplinary Research and Graduate Network offers “starter” fellowships to candidates with doctoral degrees from the humanities, cultural studies and social sciences. The call addresses primarily candidates who aspire to form a long-term attachment to the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Bern with help of the relevant means of funding (such as Ambizione from SNSF, SNSF Professorships, Marie Curie Actions).
