Postdoctoral Fellowships "Resilience and natural disasters"

The French Red Cross Foundation, a research organisation dedicated to humanitarian and social action, carries the will of the French Red Cross to commit to an effort of analysis with regard to suffering and ways of addressing it, anticipating the needs of vulnerable populations in France and in developing countries, and supporting new models for operations, training and capacity reinforcement. As such, it has decided to launch a call for applications for a postdoctoral fellowship on the topic of the prevention and management of natural risks and disasters.

Sylvia Naish Fellowships and Scholarships in Germanic Studies

Endowed by a generous bequest from the estate of Sylvia Naish, up to two Fellowships or Scholarships are offered annually for research into any area of German language and literature at the ILCS and its Germanic Studies Library and Archives. The awards are designed to assist scholars by providing a contribution to temporary living expenses in London, or enabling those in employment to take leave to further their research.

'SUSTAINING UKRAINIAN SCHOLARSHIP' Programme

The Centre for Advanced Study (CAS Sofia) is announcing a Call for Applications for the “Sustaining Ukrainian Scholarship” programme for the Academic year 2024/2025. The SUS project, proposed jointly by the New Europe College Bucharest and the Centre for Advanced Study Sofia, aims to support scholars from the regions affected by Russia’s war against Ukraine. The programme is aimed at qualified researchers (post-doctoral level) in the Humanities and Social Sciences, including Law and Economics, who intend to pursue a project of their own choosing.

David Center for the American Revolution Research Fellowships for International Scholars

The American Philosophical Society (APS)’s David Center for the American Revolution Research Fellowships for International Scholars support research by scholars based outside the United States seeking to examine materials at the APS's Library & Museum or other archives in the United States related to topics on the American Revolution and Founding Era. The fellowship is especially intended to support research on the cause, course, consequence, and experiences of the event (1750-1820).

Indigenous Community Research Fellowships

The American Philosophical Society's Library & Museum in Philadelphia invites applications for the Indigenous Community Research Fellowship to support an individual or a group of researchers seeking to examine materials at the APS to further Indigenous community-based priorities. Fellows will work with the Library & Museum’s Center for Native American and Indigenous Research (CNAIR), which aims to promote greater collaboration between scholars, archives, and Indigenous communities throughout the Americas.
