The center aims to create a space, linking the academy and the wider public, where a diverse group of people and scholars can exchange ideas across disciplinary boundaries.

The Hebrew University of Jerusalem offers a wide variety of East-Asian related course taught as part of the various departmental curricula. It is the Center mission to coordinate Asia-related activities at the university and work to offer a larger selection of courses and lectures.
