Postdoctoral Fellowships in Russian and East European Studies

The Israeli Inter-University Academic Partnership in Russian and East European Studies is offering a small number of highly competitive postdoctoral and doctoral fellowships in the field of Russian and East European Studies for the 2016-2017 academic year. These fellowships are offered to researchers across a variety of disciplines in the fields of Humanities and Social Sciences, broadly defined, and will be awarded on the basis of academic excellence.

Postdoctoral Fellowship in the Arts of Africa and/or the African Diaspora

The Department of Art History and Archaeology at the University of Missouri invites applications for a two-year Postdoctoral Fellowship in the arts of Africa and/or the African Diaspora to begin in the fall of 2016. Geographical, chronological, and specialization areas open; a secondary specialty in material culture, women and gender studies, or religious studies is welcome. The teaching load is two three-credit courses per semester, with primary teaching responsibilities including introductory-level surveys and upper-level courses in areas of expertise.

Postdoctoral Scholar on Non-citizenship at Berkeley

The Chicano Latino Research Center at the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC), invites applications for the position of One-Year Postdoctoral Scholar as a part of Non-citizenship, a year-long Andrew W. Mellon Foundation John E. Sawyer Seminar on the Comparative Study of Culture under the direction of Professor Catherine S. Ramírez. We welcome applications from scholars in any discipline or field in the humanities or humanistic social sciences who study migration, mobility, and/or (non-)citizenship in any region of the world or period.
